HABITAT Hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware assumes no responsibility for merchandise ordered according to inaccurate or incomplete measurements or counts provided by the customer. All delivery dates are approximate and HABITAT Hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware are not responsible for manufacturer, supplier or fabricator production or shipping delays or changes in availability. All orders must be paid in full upon Customer’s order being processed and product must be picked ­up within two weeks after notification of arrival at HABITAT Hardware if customer arranged delivery there. HABITAT Hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware is not responsible for installation, un­-installation or re­-installation of any product wrongly supplied, found defective or improperly installed, or used for purposes not intended by manufacturer. HABITAT Hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware is not responsible for shipping costs of any product from or to the manufacturer, supplier or fabricator of the product. No warranty is offered or implied except that of the manufacturer, supplier or fabricator of the product. All pricing on Quotations or Invoices are good for 30 days after Date of Quotation or Invoice. No returns or cancellations on custom product or if stated or described as “non-­cancellable” or “non-­returnable” on web site, Order Confirmation, Invoice or Quotation. Returns and cancellations are at the final discretion of HABITAT Hardware and Service or Restocking Fees may be charged on cancellations and returns depending on manufacturer or supplier of the product. Customer may not receive Credit for any Product returned to HABITAT Hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware WITHOUT RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER issued by HABITAT hardware Online or HABITAT Hardware.

HABITAT Hardware Online Product Return Policy
Product Returned for Customer Convenience: Product ordered can be returned within 30 days of purchase unless noted as “non­cancellable” or “non­returnable” on the original order. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Original shipping charges will be subtracted from the refund unless the return is the result of error by HABITAT Hardware Online.
Items purchased can be returned to HABITAT Hardware in Sewickley (Pittsburgh, PA). Credit will be issued at time of return and no return shipping charged. You must bring your Credit or Debit Card with you that was used for the purchase. You can also return the product ONLY after calling Customer Service and receiving a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER and shipping at your expense to the designated address. Credit will be issued only after examination of product returned. Product must be in original packaging, include all parts and instructions in undamaged and re­salable condition. Product damaged while being returned to HABITAT is the responsibility of the Customer.
Product Returned because of HABITAT error: Product ordered but received as wrong product ordered or as damaged can be returned if requested within 7 days of purchase unless noted as “non­cancellable” or “non­returnable” on the original order. Refunds including shipping to customer will be issued to the original form of payment, or Refund can be used as Credit toward replacement product. Items purchased can be returned to HABITAT Hardware in Sewickley (Pittsburgh, PA). Credit will be issued at time of return and no return shipping charged. FAQs about HABITAT Hardware Online's Customer Service Are there ever special fees or costs added to my order? Due to unusual size, shape or material, some orders may require an additional, nonrefundable processing fee which will be added during check out. Note that ALL shipping costs are non- refundable.

How do I view and print my online order confirmation? When your order entry has been completed, on the Confirmation page there is a Printer button that enables you to view and print your online order information.

When will I receive my order? Most items will be within one week; a few are up to two weeks after our receipt of your order. Some items could take two to four weeks based on whether the item needs to be manufactured. Please note the “typical lead­time” as listed on the item description page.

When is my Credit Card billed for my order? You will be billed for your order the same or next day that your order is placed. Your order confirmation email, confirms that your Card has been charged. Can I talk to a Customer Service Person if I have questions about my order? Yes! Please call either about product or order information. Please remember that HABITAT Hardware is a Factory Authorized Dealer for over 100 Decorative Hardware and Plumbing lines. Check our brick­and­mortar web site www.habitathardware.com for additional lines that you have access to. Our Customer Service hours are at a minimum: 10­5pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 10 to 3pm.

Once my order is placed, can it be changed or canceled? Please call about changing or canceling your order. Once the order has begun to be processed, we will make every effort however, we cannot guarantee that your request can be granted. Product returned WITHOUT RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER may not be credited to your Credit Card.

Can I have my order shipped to HABITAT Hardware's location in Pittsburgh (Sewickley) so that I can pick it up there? Yes! You could receive face­-to-­face Customer Service and expert advice, as well as experience first-­hand over a hundred different American and European­-made Hardware and Plumbing lines in our Sewickley, PA Showroom.

What forms of payment are accepted by HABITAT Hardware Online? MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and debit cards (when used as a credit card) only. We do not accept at this time PAYPAL.

What do I do if I receive a damaged item? If your item arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will help you in returning and replacing the damaged product. Product returned WITHOUT RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER may not be credited to your Credit Card.

What if I have concerns about the color, finish or “feel” of a product before ordering? We cannot control how well your monitor or laptop will display colors due to digital settings. Again, a major advantage to buying from a local brick­and­mortar is to see, feel and experience a representative product first­hand. That is the benefit of maintaining HABITAT Hardware's Showroom locally.

What means of shipping are used to fulfill HABITAT Hardware Online orders? Based on the manufacturer or stocking location of the product, there may be no choice of shipping company, except that the product could be shipped to HABITAT Hardware in Sewickley where you could pick it up without an extra fee, or it could be shipped back out to you usually the same day for the added expense charged by shipping. Call Customer Service to arrange such shipping. For larger items, truck delivery with lift­gate option and scheduled/arranged delivery are either standard shipping or available at check­out.

What are my options for shipping destination? HABITAT Hardware Online can ship to United States street addresses at this time and will not ship to Post Office boxes in any case. Or HABITAT can arrange to have the product shipped to our HABITAT Hardware location in Sewickley, PA (near Pittsburgh) and you can pick it up within 14 days. You will be emailed notification when your order has arrived in Sewickley and is ready for pick­up.

How is my shipping cost determined for an item? The shipping cost added to the Shopping Cart is a definite cost that has been determined to be a reasonable or average cost for shipping within the United States for the particular item based on size and weight. We believe you will agree that the costs set are quite reasonable. Please review the steps in processing my order. Customer places order on­line and submits payment using MasterCard, Visa, Discover or Debit Cards (when used as a credit card). Confirmation message and order number confirms HABITAT has acknowledged and is processing your order. Next, after your Payment has been approved, your order will either ship from our warehouse or be placed directly with the manufacturer of the product, who will either ship from stock or in rare occasions, put the product into production. “Ship ­to” destination will be either your Street Address or the HABITAT Hardware location in Sewickley, PA.. How long does it take HABITAT Hardware Online to process an order? HABITAT has no set time span for processing, but we do guarantee that your order will be handled as quickly as possible and you will be notified via email when your order ships or is available for pick up.

How many days do I have to pick up my order? You have 14 days to pick up your order. If you do not pick up your order before the 14th day, your order will be canceled and your account will be refunded with the exception of a 10% storage and handling fee. Please call for special arrangements before placing your order.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my order? Please bring a copy of your Order Acknowledgement or list of products ordered. Signature on Packing Slip is required and is proof that product was received, approved and accepted as examined.

Where do I pick up my order? You can pick up product at HABITAT Decorative Plumbing and Hardware, 519 Locust Place, Sewickley, PA 15143. We are located approx 10 miles west of Pittsburgh, PA. Our hours are typically 10 ­am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 10 ­am to 3 pm Saturdays; Wednesday evenings by appointment. Call to make special arrangements.

Can everything purchased online be shipped to and picked up at HABITAT Hardware in Sewickley? Yes!

Is there a fee in addition to shipping involved for orders that are shipped to HABITAT Hardware in Sewickley for me to pick up? No!

What happens if I order the product to be delivered to HABITAT in Sewickley and I do not pick­up the product, or if I decide to cancel my order? An order delivered to HABITAT in Sewickley can only be held up to 14 days. After 14 days the product will be returned to manufacturer or warehouse and your account will be credited less a manufacturer's or warehouse restocking fee, typically 25% plus shipping both from and to the original source. Call to make special arrangements.
